He floats the idea of declaring a ‘national emergency’ so he can keep his stormtroopers in DC, but it’s so much more than that.

If (when) he declares a ‘national emergency,’ it could entrench him in the presidency with no end in site. It’s not too far to jump to say – ‘You can’t have a transfer of power when the country is in crisis. We’ll postpone the election until next year when things calm down.’ However, the ‘next year’ never comes.

No one will stand up against him – not even the Supreme Court (which is full of his allies anyway). Members of Congress are afraid to confront him because they’ll get fired immediately. But if they really piss him off, he’ll bash them on social media.

That unleashes his cult. The person then receives threatening phone calls and death threats, sometimes over 30 a day. Locals drive by, throwing things on the lawn and yelling ‘colorful explicatives.’ Or, they sit on the lawn, shotguns in their laps, yelling at the person to come outside. They stay until someone calls the cops (but no one gets arrested because the cops are MAGA, too).

Or they don’t yell. They just shoot.

We’re only one executive order away from a dictatorship. But they won’t call it that-oh no! They’ll have some outlandish legal name that has the word ‘America’ or ‘Proud’ in it. ‘Return to a better time when we could beat everything we hated – minorities, our wives, our animals. And we were the only ones making decisions for everyone: even the minorities, our wives, and our animals.’

The best thing to do now is to collect all your paperwork. Just Google what you need – birth certificate, passport, things like that. Have printed copies and digital copies. Put a set in a fireproof safe, give a set to a trusted friend, and keep a set within arm’s reach. Because it won’t be long now until every city is full of stormtroopers and everyone has to prove that they ‘belong’ here.

(But don’t worry – if you’re a white, privileged male who voted for this mess, you won’t have any troubles.)
